• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Most of the shows were wiped by ATV, some were kept in case of investigations but what was kept in the archives fell into decay and were beyond broadcast quality. However, clips exist due to the fact that guest stars and production staff had VHS recordings of their scenes and fans had home video recordings of episodes thus restoring the missing episodes.
  • Despite these amateur recordings in total out of 302 episodes only 22 episodes are complete.
  • There is a Best of Tiswas VHS and DVD made from the best of existing recordings.
• The Merch: Lots of tie-in products at the time: a magazine, annuals, books, and, of course, songs.
• Never Work with Children or Animals: The boy who had to go for a wee. The lad who started crying when it was his turn to read out his poem. And there's the armadillo...
• Uncredited Role: Angus Deayton as Garry Cribb in a 1981 episode.
