- Acting for Two: Paul Paddick plays Captain Feathersword, does the costume work for Wags in some scenes, and also plays the incredibly hammy lifeguard when the Wiggles visit Henry.
- Bad Export for You: Some people cite the changesnote made to the US release, "Magical Adventure" as a case of this. It got worse as this version was released on DVD in Australia rather than the original version (presumably because the original version's masters were still with 20th Century Fox).
- Enforced Method Acting: According to Greg, when the Wiggles hop into the Big Red Car, their reactions to the car going round in circles were very much real. Reportley, the Big Red Car's accelerator got stuck and the car began fishtailing.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: The only way to see the original version of the film with its actual title card instead of the "Magical Adventure" one is to find a copy of the Australian VHS release. The original 1998 release also contains a trailer reel and a VHS-exclusive introduction by The Wiggles, as well as a colour-in inner sleeve picture of The Wiggles and their friends, while a later 2000 reissue doesn't.
- Kids' Meal Toy: Red Rooster released finger puppets of Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus, Wags the Dog, and Wally the Great.
