• Edited for Syndication: When the episode was screened by Channel Four in 1993 a badly abridged print was used, omitting all of Number Fourteen's manipulation of B.
• Recycled Script: Anthony Skene re-worked his script for this episode as an instalment of The BBC's Counterstrike series in 1969, entitled "Nocturne".
• Working Title: The episode was originally called "Play In Three Acts", then "1, 2 and 3".
