• Disabled Character, Disabled Actor: Deaf actor Troy Kotsur plays a Tusken using sign language to negotiate with the Mandalorian.
• Wag the Director: Ming-Na Wen, longing to appear in more than one piece of Star Wars media, shared various ideas on how to reveal that Toro failed to kill Fennec, from having her unveil blaster-proof armor underneath her jacket, to ending the episode with her performing a Finger-Twitching Revival. After Dave Filoni learned that he and Ming-Na attended the same high school (but graduated in different years), he finally agreed to drop a hint of her possible return to the Galaxy.
