  • Not for the story (the author is still genuinely proud of it), but the creator doesn't like how Empress Tyrania very much, feeling he went too far in making her evil and if they ever redid the story would like rewrite her heavily, though still keeping her a monster. He's also very open about the story being flawed and admits he would one day want to revise it.
  • While still liking what he did with her, the author isn't entirely happy with how Ember and Cynder are written and if there were ever a rewrite, she and Cynder would get more bonding time early on.
• Sleeper Hit: From the writer's perspective. The writer was actually worried the story wouldn't do well, as it was his first attempt at a full length Spyro story. It became his first story to reach triple digit reviews, all positive, and is by far his most popular story to date. Because of this, he's showed interest in making it into a trilogy.
