Trivia / The Legend of Frosty the Snowman

• Production Posse: A lot of the crew previously worked together on As Told by Ginger, including writer Emily Kapnek, composer Jared Faber, and voiceover artists Kath Soucie, Kenny Blank, Jeannie Elias and Tress MacNeille
• The Other Darrin: As with Frosty Returns, Frosty is voiced by a different actor due to Jackie Vernon's passing in 1985. Here, Bill Fagerbakke replaces Vernon and John Goodman from the previous special.
• I Want You to Meet an Old Friend of Mine: Tom Kenny (Mr. Tinkerton) and Bill Fagerbakke (Frosty) both work together on SpongeBob SquarePants as SpongeBob and Patrick, respectively.
• You Sound Familiar: Bill Fagerbakke's voice as Frosty sounds almost similar to Patrick Star's voice, a role he's known for on SpongeBob SquarePants. Coincidentally, Fagerbakke also played a snowman version of Patrick in the Merry Nickmas short, "Patrick the Snowman".
