• Completely Different Title:
  • In Sweden, the movie was released under the title Creeping Threats.
  • In France, the movie's called Mutations.
  • Sometimes the film goes by the name Slugs or Slugs: The Movie.
• The Danza: Two - Mike Brady and Kim Brady are played by Michael Garfield and Kim Terry.
• Dawson Casting: The teenagers all look at least thirty.
• Fake American: A lot of the characters are played by Spanish performers.
• What Could Have Been: A sequel was announced in trades but ultimately went unproduced. That said, the original novel has a sequel itself if you want an idea of what it could have been like.
• The black slugs of the movie are real (except the meat-eater part, of course).
