Trivia / Scooby-Doo in Arabian Nights

• Franchise Killer: This was the final animated production by Hanna-Barbera to feature Yogi Bear^note  Though things were already set in motion for Yogi due to the flop that was Yo Yogi! three years prior and Magilla Gorilla, and could have been for Scooby-Doo until the Scooby-Doo Direct-to-Video Film Series began. This film veered far off from the company's traditional and modern roots, and in a way serves as the warning of what was to come from Hanna-Barbera slowly being folded into Warner Bros. Animation (along with the founding of the spin-off studio, Cartoon Network Studios).
• Role Reprise: Quite a few, such as Casey Kasem as Shaggy, Don Messick as Scooby-Doo and Boo Boo Bear, and Allan Melvin as Magilla Gorilla.
• Swan Song: This was not only the last time Allan Melvin reprised his role as Magilla Gorilla, but also his last role overall.
