  • One of the Pillar Men from Battle Tendency is directly named Santana, although Token Evil Teammate Rudol von Stroheim claims to have named him after the winds of Mexico.
  • In Stardust Crusaders, the crafter of the Living Weapon Stand called Anubis is named Caravan Serai, after the Santana album Caravanserai.
    • Also, in the dub of Stardust Crusaders, Devo the Cursed had his name changed to Soul Sacrifice, after the hit Santana single.
  • A racer from Steel Ball Run is also named Caravan Serai, whereas his horse, Moon Flower, is named after both the song and studio/live-hybrid album by Santana.
