• Late Export for You: After the initial run in 1995 of the DIC English dub, American fans would not get to see this episode and the rest of Sailor Moon R until November 30, 1998. The wait was because the English dub hit the 65-episode threshold and got poor ratings during its initial run in syndication; DIC chose not to dub more episodes. A fan campaign called "Save Our Sailors" was organized and eventually succeeded as General Mills would eventually broadcast the rest of the R episodes through the Program Exchange.
• The Other Darrin: Because her regular DiC voice actress, Katie Griffin, was away shooting a movie, Sailor Mars is voiced by Emilie-Claire Barlow beginning with this episode for the rest of the season.
