Trivia / SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy

• What Could Have Been:
  • Takashi Kondo was originally set to reprise his role as Terry (in spite of the obvious changes), but the sound designer found it really gross, and it's been decided that his voice should be feminine as well, which caused a temporary switch in voice actor to Chiaki Takahashi.
  • SNK Heroines supposedly have 2 more DLC characters (in the bottom-left and bottom-right) as heavily implied in character select screen◊. It's also been speculated those are guest fighters from Dead or Alive and Tekken, returning the favor for Mai Shiranui and Geese Howard appearing in those games respectively. However, due to the announcement of The King of Fighters XV and released in February 17, 2022, SNK have quietly abandoned this game, leaving those 2 remaining character slots vacant forever.
  • Concept designs for female versions of Billy Kane, Andy Bogard and Kyo Kusanagi hinted at those characters being playable, or at least had their outfits ready for use by other characters. Notably, two of those ideas got used in the future: Iori (as Miss X) cosplays as Kyo for one of his alternate outfits, while Billy did get a proper Gender Bender look in The King of Fighters All Star, albeit with a design that is pretty far removed from what was seen in the Concept Art.
