• No Export for You: With the exception of SD Gundam Force, no SD Gundam series has officially been released outside of Asia.
  • They've been trying to change this with the SD Gundam World series starting with Sangoku Soketsuden. The series gets released on the official GundamInfo Channel on YouTube with multilingual subtitles including English, and it's free to watch in several parts of the globe, including America and Europe.
• Official Fan-Submitted Content: This is actually a staple of the franchise. It's common for Gundam or Bandai related publishings to hold design contests for characters. This is especially true for the Knight Gundam franchise.
• Promoted Fan Boy: Creator Koji Yokoi can be considered one for Gundam in general. SD Gundam was started from his contributed illustration while he was in junior high.
