• Cowboy BeBop at His Computer: It is commonly believed that the show is hentai due to its explicit content, despite not being officially categorized as such. The show has even been uploaded to some hentai websites.
• Creator's Oddball: While his other stories are decently serious and mature, Rui Tsukiyo normally creates relatively light and straightforward fantasy and isekai stories, such as Dungeon Builder: The Demon King's Labyrinth is a Modern City or The World's Finest Assassin, with Redo of Healer basically acting as a dumping ground for his "edgiest" thoughts and ideas. Due to Redo's popularity, many newcomers to his stories have expressed surprise at how very different all of his other stories were from Redo.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: The original web novel was left unfinished and taken down from Shousetsuka ni Narou.
• No Dub for You: Overseas releases of the anime have only been made available in subtitled form and it is very unlikely to receive an official dub anytime soon^note Outside of some European countries where dubs of foreign content are required by law, that is due to its subject matter (particularly its pervasive themes of sexual violence) not being something that most actors would be comfortable with having on their resumes.
• No Export for You:
  • The light novels aren't available outside of Japan. The author himself stated on his Twitter account that publishers overseas refused to translate the story.
  • The anime adaptation was hit with this as well; due to its content, it's very unlikely distributors outside the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Nordics, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Latin America, and Germany would dare to touch the series.
• Trolling Creator: If this interview with TheAnimeMan is anything to speak of, Rui Tsukiyo practically made the series for the lulz, wanting to see how far the controversy surrounding the featured content would go. At least in the West, it did get rather far...
