• Blooper: At one point in episode 7, Jack refers to Gem’s Sky Morpher as “Nice bracelet”. The Sky Morpher is a joystick.
• Creator Couple: Malika Lim the primary Game Master and Zac Eubank the CEO of Hyper RPG and Game Master for several episodes are a married couple.
• Descended Creator:
  • Zac Eubank, one of the producers, plays Santa in episode 8, Anubis Cruger in episodes 14 and 15, and takes over as GM for episodes 19 and 20.
  • Kyle Higgins, one of the writers for Shattered Grid, will be a player during the team's crossover in episode 19.
• Milestone Celebration:
  • The team was designed as an anniversary team, and therefore there are many homages to previous teams built in. The suits themselves are reminiscent of the Time Force suits, but have animal motifs in the helmets (much like those of Wild Force, Jungle Fury, and the first season of Megaforce), and the diamonds on the boots evoke the imagery of the original team.
  • The first episode of 2018, the franchise's 25th anniversary year, had Jason David Frank guest starring as Tommy, arguably the most popular Ranger of all time.
• Promoted Fanboy: The cast members who aren't already part of the franchise are all people who have been fans of the franchise.
• Real-Life Relative: Marv's brother is played by Yoshi Sudarso, Peter's real life brother.
• Role Reprise: Erin Cahill as Jen Scotts in the first episode, Karan Ashley as Aisha Campbell in the fourth, Mike Ginn as Gem in the seventh, Jason David Frank as Dr. Tommy Oliver in the ninth, Cameron Jebo as Orion in the eighteenth and JDF returning in 20 to play Lord Drakkon.
• Schedule Slip: December had two episodes delayed, one due to the ongoing wildfires in California at the time and the other due to the holidays.
