  • Dueling Dubs: Nickelodeon India, Disney Channel Asia, and TV2 Malaysia all have have their own different English dubs of Perman.
  • Licensed Game: There are at least two of them, which were both released on the Nintendo Entertainment System in the early '90s.
  • Missing Episode: A few episodes of the 60's series are completely missing. Some episodes still have a lot of pictures, and the slideshows are included on the DVD.
  • Referenced by...:
    • In JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable, Toshikazu Hazamada is a fan of Perman. His Stand, Surface, is a reference to the eponymous copy-robots where the copy transforms into an identical clone to help the main character keep his secret identity during missions. Hazamada mentions Perman by name when fighting Josuke and Koichi, then gets upset when Josuke expresses his confusion about the subject.
    • This show is referenced in the Grand Finale of Little Ghost Q-Taro. The heroes are captured and all hope seems to be lost when they are suddenly rescued by Perman. They ask who he is, and he declares himself to be the star of the show. Q-Taro then angrily informs Perman that his show starts next week, and he's arrived a week too early. Sure enough, Perman debuted the following week in Little Ghost Q-Taro's former time slot.
    • In Ninja Hattori, Kenichi can be seen watching or reading Perman in a few different episodes.
    • This series is referenced quite a few times in Doraemon. For example, Sumire Hoshino appears on a poster in Stand by Me Doraemon. In fact, Sumire Hoshino, an artist that often appears in Doraemon, is the grown up version of Perman 3. There's even an episode dealing with Sumire telling Doraemon and Noby about her faraway lover. Sumire never tells the name of his lover, but there is a picture of Mitsuo Suwa, the original Perman and its main protagonist, on her liontin. Mitsuo was sent to Birdman's headquarter to be a full fledged member of the galactic peacekeeping organization at the end of Perman.
  • Role Reprise: Katsue Miwa and Hiroshi Ōtake voiced Perman and Booby respectively in both the 1967 and 1983 series.
