Trivia / PMEX Remix

• Acting for Two:
  • As usual, Charles Martinet voices Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Dr. Mario and Dr. Luigi, all of which are playable fighters in this mod.
  • All of the characters voiced by Alésia Glidewell (Zero Suit Samus, Suitless Samus, Krystal and Knuckle Joe) are now playable fighters.
  • Skye Bennett voices Pyra and Mythra, who are now separate playable fighters despite being alter-egos.
  • Averted with Dan Green, who voices Knuckles and is also Mewtwo's modern voice actor in Pokémon: The Series; however, both base Mewtwo and Mega Mewtwo Y instead use Masachika Ichimura's Voice Grunting from Melee.
  • Makiko Ohmoto voices Kirby, Ness and Lyn, the latter of which speaks Japanese to match Roy (also from her universe).
• Newbie Boom: The release of version 0.95b resulted in a ton of new players trying out the mod for the first time, in turn resulting in an influx of YouTube clips and montages.
• The Other Darrin: Chase Tant voices Alucard and Isaac, replacing Yuri Lowenthal and Teiya Ichiryusai respectively. Isaac has a noticeably different voice from his Assist Trophy counterpart.
• Prop Recycling: Several Assist Trophies that have been Promoted to Playable, such as Isaac and the Black Knight, use their models lifted directly from Ultimate since their polygon counts are closer to Brawl fighters than previous games' Assists. Fighter models are also reused from Ultimate, but have to be modified to run better on the Wii and/or remove cases of Adaptational Modesty.
• Refitted for Sequel: Knuckles, Lyn, and (allegedly) Isaac were planned for the original Project M before the game's updates were officially canceled. Using the assets of their incomplete PM selves, they found their way into subsequent mods based on PM, all the way down to REMIX.
• Role Reprise:
  • The announcer, recycled from Project M Legacy XP, is none other than Dean Harrington - the Super Smash Bros. Melee announcer, who recorded new character calls for the Project M cast as well as the XP newcomers such as Lucina and Waluigi (but sadly not most of the additional EX fighters).
  • Sonic, Tails and Knuckles retain their 4Kids Entertainment voice actors though Shadow is David Humphrey from Adventure 2, Heroes and Battle and one of Knuckles's KO clips is from Sonic Adventure where the echidna was voiced by Michael McGahran.
  • Black Shadow's voice is comprised of clips of Norio Wakamoto from F-Zero: GP Legend.
