- All-Star Cast: Good gravy. The series consists of a bunch of big-name actors. Kimmy Robertson, well-known for playing Lucy in Twin Peaks, plays Ollie while Eric Bauza does Scoops. The recurring cast includes Grey DeLisle and Mara Wilson, amongst many others; including Mike Stoklasa and Rich Evans, Daron Nefcy, Adam McArthur, Vivienne Medrano, Brock Baker, Jeffrey Combs, Barbara Crampton, Dana Snyder, and James Rolfe.
- Cross-Dressing Voices: Carl, who is a boy in Ollie's class, is voiced by voice actress Rachael Russakoff.
- Dawson Casting: Ollie is voiced by Kimmy Robertson, who's past her 60s.
- The Other Darrin: Miss Bivvins was first voiced by Candi Milo in episode two, but is then replaced by Kelsy Abbott starting with episode five.
- Posthumous Credit: The (unreleased as of yet) twelfth episode, "Catch My Thrift?", marked the final role for Kevin Conroy, who died on November 10, 2022.
- What Could Have Been:
- Colaleo's friends initially suggested him voicing Scoops but he dismissed the thought as he already voiced Jeffrey in his sister series for DreamWorks, Too Loud!.
- Comedian Kevin McDonald, of the comedy troupe The Kids in the Hall, whom the creator is a fan of, was set to voice Dougie the Lab Cat but backed out due to schedule conflicts. Nico also approached musician "Weird Al" Yankovic for the role but was quickly shot down by his reps. Ultimately, the role went to Dana Snyder.
- A Battle of the Bands-themed episode was initially conceived but fell through due to the lack of creative opportunities for such a trope.
- According to Nico Colaleo, Maria Bamford was his second choice for the voice of Ollie if Kimmy Robertson wouldn't take the role.
- Colaleo also had hopes of working with Norm Macdonald guest voicing one day but the idea fell through due to the actor's passing.
