Trivia / Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4

• Cross-Dressing Voices: Played straight with Boruto in both Japanese (Yuko Sanpei) and English (Maile Flanagan ^note  pre-Road to Boruto and later Amanda Céline Miller ^note  as of Road to Boruto ).
• God-Created Canon Foreigner: Itachi and Shisui both have Perfect Susanoo forms, neither of which existed in the manga or anime adaptation, but were designed by Masashi Kishimoto for the game.
• Marth Debuted in "Smash Bros.":
  • Kaguya Otsutsuki is this for people who have only followed the anime.
  • In Latin America, besides Kaguya, half of the new cast from Shippuden, as the series only recently debuted in Latin America in 2015, after a long hiatus when the rest of the series was canceled from Cartoon Network's Latin American feed in 2006. The characters from Boruto debuted with a dub at 2021.
• The Other Darrin:
  • For some reason, two characters had their English voices swapped in-game from the anime. Hashirama Senju is now voiced by Peter Lurie, while Tobirama Senju is voiced by Jamieson Price. In the anime, Price voiced Hashirama and Lurie voiced Tobirama. Shippūden would keep the swapped casting for all of the Senjus appearances including their return via Edo Tensei in the final arc.
  • Michael Yurchak takes over as Obito from Todd Haberkorn in the previous game, as Yurchak's portrayal of "Tobi's" silly voice was meant to be a variation of his real one the whole time as was proved in the anime.
    • Speaking of Yurchak, he also voices the original Tobi i.e. Swirly Zetsu here instead of Zetsu's standard voice Travis Willingham. This was a mistake since this Tobi was meant to be just another variation of White Zetsu, and thus have the same actor as the original and all his duplicates.
  • As of the Road to Boruto expansion, Boruto is now voiced by his English VA from the anime, Amanda Céline Miller.
  • Oddly enough, in the Latin American Spanish dub, Mecha-Naruto is dubbed by another voice actress (Susana Moreno) rather than Naruto's voice actress (Isabel Martiñón).
