• What Could Have Been: According to one of storybookknight's posts, the original idea for the story was a "what if Midoriya had a quirk" fanfic before he settled on the Fusion Fic idea.
• Write What You Know: Storybookknight revealed that they grew up hearing-impaired which caused them "a lot of difficulty making friends and understanding others," and channeled that knowledge of angst into Hikigaya and Midoriya, both of whom he strongly resonated with their lack of "something" other people had.
