- Acting for Two: Marÿke Hendrikse plays Ooka and Bishu.
- Crossdressing Voices: Fij Fij, who is male, is played by Cathy Weseluck, who has been known for playing these types of characters, including one from a more popular TV show that also aired on the same network.
- Screwed by the Network: While not as bad as other shows from the channel, the show hasn't been aired or even mentioned since its initial air date, and has largely faded to obscurity in no thanks to the non-existent promotion it got during its run. In fact, it's one of Hub Network's shortest-running cartoons to date, more so than any other single-season shows from the network.
- Unspecified Role Credit: The end credits of each episode only list the names of the voice actors instead of listing the characters with their respective voice actors like all of Hub's other shows. While the voice actors for the main cast note would be revealed some time after the show's premiere, some VAs for specific characters like Bob are still left unknown to this day.
