- In Japan, the anime's distribution rights are currently owned by NBCUniversal due to their buyout of Geneon in 2008.
- Nozomi Entertainment first released the anime in North America. When Nozomi's license expired in 2018, Sentai Filmworks snapped up the rights and released it under the Maiden Japan banner.
- Image Song: The second season of the Marimite anime, Maria Watches Over Us: Printemps, has "image-albums" dedicated to the roses.There are a total of three, each having several tracks themed respectively around Rosa Chinensis, Rosa Foetida and Rosa Gigantea.
