• No Dub for You: Despite Maken X receiving an English dub track in the west, the European version of Maken Shao retain the original Japanese dub track.
• No Export for You: The United States was left out when it came to the release of the PS2 remake. Although a North American release was planned at one point.
• What Could Have Been: Maken Shao was intended to have been released in North America, but was cancelled.
