Tropes

• Blooper: Clair and Damien's professions were accidentally mixed up, given Cross' line "my mom worked as a nurse". This has been corrected to "dad".
• In Memoriam: The chapter's dedicated to Steve Harwell (the former Smash Mouth member having died of liver failure five days before publishing) and Jimmy Buffett (who died on September 1, 2023.)
• Similarly Named Works: The chapter shares its name with the Justice League three-part finale.
• Throw It In!: Cross wasn't originally supposed to appear, but was utilized for the sake of Donna learning about his dragon form.
• What Could Have Been: The confrontation with Seth and Draco was meant to occur earlier in the week, but takes place during the events of the previous chapter to give the rest of the cast a rough Splatterday.
