Colbert Bump: Lizzie got a big boost in notability once YouTuber Katherine Steele named it as one of her favorite underrated musicals. It's not uncommon to find comments on videos of the soundtrack saying that they're here because Kat recommended it.
The musical Six has several similarities to Lizzie - notably framing a historical woman's life as a concert and offering a more sympathetic portrayal than history remembers. Six however is more inspired by 2000s pop Girl Groups, while Lizzie's influences are more punk and riot grrl music.
Hamilton's success caused lots more people to seek Lizzie out due to the unconventional style of music in both.
