Trivia / Learning Voyage

  • Cowboy BeBop at His Computer: Activities from these games were included in ClassWorks Gold. The activity guides, which were formerly viewable on the website for Classwell (who published ClassWorks for a time), list them as "Learning Voyage Grade 3 Reading", "Learning Voyage Grade 3 Math", "Learning Voyage Grade 4 Reading", and "Learning Voyage Grade 4 Math". Their errors:
    • The games covered both reading and math; there weren't separate titles for either subject.
    • The titles were not only named after the grade level, but were called Sand Trapped! and Swamped!, although the grade levels do show up on the splash screens.
    • In addition, the names of some mini-games were incorrect. For example, a game that was simply called "Clown Dunking" in the ClassWorks manuals is actually called "Dunkolator", the game they called "Chimp Champion Challenge" is actually called "Monkey Diver" (Arno does call it the Chimp Champion Challenge at the beginning), and a game they called "Robot Building" is actually called "Robomatic".
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: It's not very easy to find physical copies of either of these games, at least in their original release. Some activities are included in ClassWorks (formerly ClassWorks Gold), an online collection of edutainment games, but ClassWorks is licensed to schools only. The intro cutscene to Sand Trapped! used to be on YouTube, but that specific video is long gone, and only the person who uploaded it originally knows why. It is much easier to find the re-branded versions, Davidson's Learning Center Series: 3rd Grade and Davidson's Learning Center Series: 4th Grade.
  • Similarly Named Works: There is a website called The Learning Voyage that has nothing to do with these games.
  • Uncredited Role: None of the voice actors appear in the credits for either game.
