Trivia / Land of the Lost (1991)

• Actor Allusion: In "Jungle Girl," Annie plays a game of "guess who" with Tom, who guesses Cybil Shepherd. Shepherd happened to be Timothy Bottoms' (Tom) co-star in The Last Picture Show.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Averted. The show received a few official VHS tapes in the early '90s. These VHS tapes (alongside early 90’s TV recordings) were the only ways to watch the show for quite a few decades, until 2023, when Dove Channel (the current copyright holders) officially uploaded the entire series in HD to Youtube.
• Screwed by the Network: Despite being popular enough to warrant a third season, the show was cancelled due to Disney's decision to run its own programming after their purchase of ABC.
• What Could Have Been: At one point, this series was meant to be a Sequel Series to the original instead of a total reboot: the characters of Christa and Stink were originally a grown-up Holly and Cha-Ka.
