- Acting for Two:
- Kath Soucie voices two of Lady and Tramp's daughters, Collette and Danielle.
- Jeff Bennett voices FOUR characters - Tramp, Jock, Trusty and the Dogcatcher.
- Irony as She Is Cast: Mickey Rooney voices Sparky, an Irish Wolfhound. Two decades earlier in The Fox and the Hound, he voiced another canine who was antagonized by an Irish Wolfhound.
- The Other Darrin: So many of the first movie's voice actors had died or were too old to record their lines by the time this sequel entered production, that it became Disney's first direct-to-video sequel to replace the whole cast.
- Posthumous Credit: Mary Kay Bergman is given one for Si. The film was released just over a year after her suicide.
- Recycled Script: This movie's plot shares MANY similarities with The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea, released just 6 months before this film. The general consensus is that Scamp's Adventure is a much better sequel.
- Release Date Change: The Lady and the Tramp 1998 Masterpiece Collection VHS tapes ended with a Scamp's Adventure teaser, listing a 2000 release date. For whatever reason, the sequel ended up premiering in 2001 instead.
- Sequel Gap: Scamp's Adventure came out 46 years after the original film.
- Throw It In!: Scamp's nervous "I hit the, uh, the thingy" line was said by accident by his voice actor but was included in the film.
