  • Acting for Two: Both of the Biggles were voiced by Julene Renee.
  • Amateur Cast: Most of the children featured on the show haven't done much since and have mostly faded into obscurity, though there are a few exceptions.
  • Descended Creator:
    • Production manager Kathryn Levitsky appears as the mom at the beginning of "A Day at Old MacDonald's Farm."
    • Choreographer Andre Tayir appears in the "Splish Splash" segment of "Ride the Rollercoaster", playing a cop-costumed high diver. Tayir also starred in "A Day at Old MacDonald's Farm" as the scarecrow.
    • Music producer Michael Lloyd appears in the "I Got Wheels" segment of "Cars, Boats, Trains and Planes", riding a unicycle.
  • Dueling Works:
    • With Wee Sing. Both franchises started in 1985 when the home video market was rapidly expanding, and they continued well into the 1990s. Each have a similar concept of teaching An Aesop through music, though Wee Sing was more upfront about the lessons.
    • The production teams for Kidsongs and Barney & The Backyard Gang must have each viewed the other as a threat, because 1989's "A Day at Camp" features songs which debuted in the latter series both before and after.
  • No Export for You: There are no records of any of the franchise installments being released outside of North America.
  • You Look Familiar: While the home videos often use the same adult cast members for various characters, Peter Russ Fremin who played Silly Willy in "Very Silly Songs" and the waltz dance instructor in "I Can Dance" would later to play the station programming director Mr. Frost in the 4th season of the Kidsongs TV Show. It's brought up in-universe when the kids recognize the instructor as their current boss, and he confesses it was him.
