• California Doubling: Despite taking place in various cities in the U.S., such as Chicago, Washington D.C. and Baltimore, the whole film was shot in Michigan.
• Similarly Named Works: To Countdown: Jerusalem, a 2009 Asylum movie also about a terrorist plot related to Biblical end-times prophecies.
• Stillborn Franchise: The ending suggests that there were meant to be sequels to the movie, but none were made using the same characters or continuing the story. However, Pure Flix later started another thriller series centered around the Rapture, The Mark, which got two entries.
