• Colbert Bump:
  • For better or worse, "Peppermint" after it became a TikTok meme, as with a few of Jack's other songs.
  • Inverted, but a popular fan video set to the song "Buttercup" gave a lot of attention to Masaaki Yuasa's Kick Heart short film.
• Creator Breakdown: "Viator" as an album was Jack's coping mechanism "for a lot of loss" in the summer of 2015.
• Crossdressing Voices: Not counting the occasional special guest voice, Jack voices every character in his work, including female characters.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Some of Jack’s songs are only performed at concerts or are improvised as a one time thing, meaning that it’s extremely difficult to find an improvised concert song unless it was uploaded to the internet or if you went to the actual concert.
  • One song that has been nicknamed the "Movie Theater Song" was performed during a live show at RedFishBowl's Lawrenceville Art Crawl. The only thing that has surfaced since its original performance is a 37 second long clip from the show.
  • Zaki (one of the bands Jack sung in) once made a cover of “Mohongawhatever”. However, the only evidence of its existence is a 35 second video of a live show it was played at.
  • There are a few songs on his Tumblr account that are mysteriously cut off at the end, with no answer on whether there's a full version or not. One example being "vlc record 2018 01 25 07h40m19s0huuhu" (yes, this is the actual title).
  • A song that he played live called "The Lie" only has one video of it being performed, and even then, there's a lot of crowd sounds that muffle the song.
• No-Hit Wonder: His offbeat style makes it unlikely he'll break into the mainstream but he has accumulated a growing fanbase on the strength of his YouTube channel.
• Obscure Popularity: Jack Stauber has a thriving fanbase on the internet (mostly YouTube) garnering almost 3 million subscribers, but outside of his fanbase, he remains virtually unknown, being known for songs like "Buttercup" and "Oh Klaholma" on TikTok at best.
• Promoted Fanboy: "Pizza Boy" Anthony is a huge fan of Jack's work, and Jack recognized him by not only having him voice his Channel Trailer, but also make a song on HiLo based on him called "Pizza Boy
• Reclusive Artist: Jack Stauber is very private when it comes to discussing his personal life, and dropped off the face of the internet in 2021 after posting "Baby Son Adoring Us", with nobody knowing why he left, or when (or if) he'll ever return.
• Shrug of God: According to a video made by Youtuber RecordBreaker301, when asked what his song "Inchman" was about, Jack's response was something along the lines of "I'll never tell".
• Similarly Named Works: One of his songs uploaded to YouTube is called "Dirty Harry". It shares that name with a song by Gorillaz.
• What Could Have Been: When Jack began producing shirts for his website, one of the planned shirts was a Defictionalization of the "ACHOO!" shirt the boy wore in "Penny". It was scrapped for unknown reasons.
