Trivia / Hope of the Shield Hero

• Accidentally-Correct Writing: During the fight to stop the Pope from carrying out his plans, Naofumi notices that the Royal Shield was working much better against the Church's knights that expected, but chalks it up to the knights being worse than he believed... only that he's using it to protect Raphtalia, who, unknown to everyone, is the daughter of Q'ten Lo's former heir to the throne, making her a legitimate member of a Royal House, and thus making the Royal Shield work at its best. It would be a nice piece of Foreshadowing... if the author hadn't acknowledged later that he had forgot about the Royal Shield's power being enhanced when attacking or protecting a Royal Family member.
