    • In Portuguese, in both Brazil and Portugal, the film is known as Três Vidas e um Destino ("Three Lives and a Destiny").

    • In Greece, it is known as San prosopo sta synnefa (Σαν πρόσωπο στα σύννεφα, "Like a Face in the Clouds").
    • In Hungary, it is known as Nézz az égre! ("Look at the Sky!").
    • In Japan, it is known as トリコロールに燃えて (Torikorōru ni moete, "Burning Tricolour").
    • In Lithuania, it is known as VirÅ¡ debesu ("Above the Clouds").

    • In an odd example of several countries having the same title different from the original, the film is known in several countries under a title that translates to "Women's Games" or "Games of Women": Germany (Die Spiele der Frauen), Italy (Gioco di donna), and Spain (Juegos de mujer).
