Trivia / Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure

• Demand Overload: The ride first opened up to wait times of 600 minutes, with the line for the attraction having to be moved to start right at the front of the park. Unsurprisingly, during the attraction's first few days of operation, it had to be closed down early due to reaching capacity for the day.
• In Memoriam: After Robbie Coltrane's death, a bundle of roses was laid next to the to the Hagrid animatronic on the ride.
• The Other Darrin: A very atypical example: Due to Robbie Coltrane being in poor health at the time of filming, Greg Draven serves as Hagrid's body double in the pre-show. This means Robbie voices him and acts as Hagrid's head, while Greg is the body. Hagrid's massive beard helps mask the fact that two actors are playing the role simultaneously.
• No Export for You: The ride is exclusive to Universal's Islands of Adventure.
• Recycled Set: Much of the queue and pre-show areas of Dragon Challenge was retained and reused for its replacement, often with just a mild amount of refurbishing.
• Troubled Production: Similar to Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, this ride was opened prematurely. As a result, it has not been able to operate at full capacity and is prone to technical errors, which led to Universal having to close the ride for parts of the day to work on it further. This combined with the fact that the ride has to close whenever it rains (something that's all too common in Florida summers), has created some difficult situations with the many guests looking to ride the attraction.
