• Acting for Two: Akira Ohashi not only plays Gamera, but he also appears as a subway riot policeman in Sapporo as well as a worker in Sendai.
• Directed by Cast Member: Kyle Jones, who directed the ADV dub, also has a voice-over role as a train conductor.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Not the movie itself, but the secret Lake Texarkana Gamera dub that was on the original ADV DVD was not ported over to the Mill Creek Blu-ray. Fortunately, Arrow Video is including it on their complete Gamera box set.
• The Other Darrin:
  • Akira Ohashi replaces Takateru Manabe and Jun Suzuki as Gamera.
  • Due to Amanda Winn-Lee moving to Los Angeles, Luci Christian replaces her as Asagi in the ADV dub.
