• Acting for Two: Quite a few principal voice actors played secondary roles in addition to their main ones. For example:
  • Yumi Touma: Liabert von Neuestein and Yoko Mizuno.
  • Saori Sugimoto: Marina, Kaede Yumioka and Emilia Fairchild.
  • Junko Hagimori: Erina and Alefchina Mihalkov.
  • Chieko Nanba: Mari Teshigawara and Ryudia Freird Louis Marnias III.
  • Mariko Kouda: Chiaki Kosaka, Shiori Jinguji and Sayuka Ayanokoji.
  • Yuriko Yamamoto: Elner, the Dark Queen and Naoko Kagurazaka.
• Descended Creator: In addition to serving as executive producer, Oji Hiroi voiced Yuichiro Kagurazaka (Yuna's father).
• Fan Translation:
  • On August 25, 2021, the first game on the original PC Engine CD received an English fan translation complete with English subtitles for the songs and cutscenes courtesy of Mafoo343 and various users at Romhacking.net.
  • On December 18, 2021, the sequel Eternal Princess was translated as well.
  • The same group strikes again. On May 9, 2023, the PlayStation release of Lightning Angel, titled Final Edition, was translated, completing the trilogy.
• Interquel in Another Medium: The OVA series takes place before the events of Lightning Angel.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes:
  • As of 2023, all of the video games, including its remakes and re-releases, are out of print. Thus, used copies are frequently sold at high prices. Those without access to the original gaming systems (i.e. the PC Engine, Sega Saturn etc.), emulation, or were too young to play it at the time of its release, are out of luck when it comes to getting the games into their hands.
  • The OVAs never saw a re-release since the LaserDisc, VHS and DVD releases first hit Japanese store shelves, and the same applies for ADV Films' North American VHS and DVD releases. Fortunately, the OVAs survive online.
• No Export for You: The original games have never been released outside of Japan.
• The Other Darrin:
  • Michitaka Kobayashi narrated the first game as well as the first drama CD. Starting with the second drama CD, Kenyuu Horiuchi took over as the narrator.
  • In the original game, Himeko Ayakawa was voiced by Kimiko Toriumi. Then, for the first two drama CDs, she was voiced by Wakana Yamazaki. From Lightning Angel onwards, Himeko is voiced by Junko Hagimori.
  • Luminaeva do Krosovskaya was voiced by Maki Yamada in the original game, by Yuko Nagashima for the first two drama CDs, and by Aya Hara from Lightning Angel onwards.
  • Aya Hara originally voiced Li Min Hoan from the original game and the first two drama CDs. Since the second game, the character was voiced by Rie Iwatsubo.
• You Sound Familiar:
  • In Lightning Angel, Luminaeva was voiced by Aya Hara, who previously played Li Min Hoan in the first game.
  • Junko Hagimori voiced Erina and Alefchina Mihalkov in the first game. She would later voice Himeko Ayakawa in Lightning Angel.
