Trivia / Galaxy Angel

• Acting for Two: Rokurō Naya voices Luft Weizen and Gern of the Valfask in the original videogame trilogy. Likewise, Makoto Yasumura voices Ecco Frite (the Elsior's shopkeeper) and Rowil of the Valfask.
• Bonus Episode: One DVD-exclusive episode per season.
• Channel Hop: The first series aired exclusively on Animax. All subsequent series (including Galaxy Angel Rune) aired on TV Tokyo and its affiliates... which is noticeable because Ranpha and Forte's outfits are made more concealing in the subsequent series due to TV Tokyo's infamously strict censorship guidelines. (Though Animax did air reruns of the subsequent seasons).
• Fan Translation: Full English translation patches for the Windows versions: the original Galaxy Angel in December 2009; Galaxy Angel Moonlit Lovers in February 2011, and Galaxy Angel Eternal Lovers in September 2011.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: The Region 1 collection of A is long out-of-print. (The original series and Z's R1 collections suffered the same fate, but those seasons also had individual volume releases that aren't too hard to find yet.) Averted now that Nozomi Entertainment has licensed it.
• The Other Darrin: In the English dub, Ranpha's voice actress Nicole Leroux is later replaced by Tabitha St. Germain.
  • Dejiko and Puchiko are voiced by Anna Cummer ^note  who already voices Vanilla and Jillian Michaels as it wouldn't have been possible to get any of their previous dub VAs at the time.
• Screwed by the Network: Bandai Entertainment only dubbed eight episodes of X, the final season, due to poor sales of AA and S, although most fans of the dub take it as a "fuck you" due to paying full price for an incomplete dub. This happened after the trainwreck company Bandai Visual USA released Rune with no dub and Region 2 format, and volume 1 had a grand total of one episode. It's not even worth it.
• What Could Have Been:
  • When asked to make a sixth angel, the creator submitted a Tomboy with short hair and glasses. Due to Executive Meddling, Yamato Nadeshiko Chitose was used instead.
  • The Rune Angel Wing ended up getting the tomboy in the form of Anise Azeat, a Hot-Blooded exotic-looking redhead who was orphaned as an infant and had been living alone for a few years before she joined.
