• What Could Have Been:
  • Some key elements in the show were supposed to be for Sunrise's next Brave show after GaoGaiGar, Brave Saint Baan Gaan. But since the show didn't materialize, said elements came to fruition in this show.
  • During the planning stages of the show, a post-apocalyptic setting was proposed. It featured a world of machine people with few humans with a class-based society. The protagonist fought mechanical aristocrats to recover his weapons.
  • The titular mecha was planned to be voiced by Ryōtarō Okiayu, he recorded some lines which were removed a week before the show aired.
  • The Data Weapons Unicorn, Leo and Dragon were meant to have individual power-ups where the whole body became a weapon.
  • The Chips were originally going to be four members but one got axed, also they were going to have individual focus episodes but this was dropped after the broadcast was shifted which caused Altair to be introduced earlier than planned.
  • As mentioned on the main page there were plans for a sequel which never materialized, some drafts can be found here
