• No Export for You: Could be subverted, but recently a blogger on Facebook asked Sublime Manga if they would consider licensing G Defend. The response was that it would be too expensive for Sublime to host a series that was 40 volumes long.
• Schedule Slip: Volume 9 came out in 1997, and volume 10 came out in 2000. Slightly justified because Morimoto decided to take a break from the series to do another, Jinjuu Houretsuden.
