• Acting for Two:
  • Senzaemon Nakiri and the Narrator are voiced by Banjo Ginga.
  • Yuuta Tomita and Kanachi Konishi are voiced by Shinji Kawada; In-Universe, characters even compare the two to one another just like the manga!
  • The Latin Spanish dub seems to be up to eleven with this. The most notable one is Tamara Veppo, who voices Megumi and Erina, and a few extra voices of episodic characters.
• Directed by Cast Member:
  • The French dub is directed by Mélanie Anne, also the voice of Hisako Arato.
  • The Latin American Spanish dub is directed by Aldo Lumbia, who voices Gin Doujima and Senzaemon Nakiri. Diego Santos, the voice of Soma, is in charge of the translation and adaptation.
  • The Portuguese dub has two directors, Silvio Gonzalez and Rafael Schubert, who also directed all the other five Portuguese-dubbed Sentai titles. Both are also respectively the voices of Soma and Takumi.
• Dueling Shows: With Gourmet Girl Graffiti.
• Market-Based Title: The English-language dub adds the "Food Wars!" prefix.
• The Other Darrin: Ever since Risa Taneda went on hiatus following the second season of the anime, Hisako Kanemoto became the official voice of Erina, even after Taneda returned to acting.
• Schedule Slip: The first two episodes of the anime adaptation's final season aired during Spring 2020, but the remaining episodes were pushed back to Summer 2020 due to complications resulting from the COVID-19 Pandemic.
• What Could Have Been: According to series creator Yuuto Tsukuda, he always wanted to end Shokugeki no Soma with Soma and Erina getting hitched, but found it too difficult to get to that point naturally, thus concluded it as a Maybe Ever After in Le Dessert to avoid it altogether.
