- Franchise Killer: Outside of rereleases, there has not been a new game in the series since Excitebike: World Rally in 2009.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: Excitebike: World Rally was only released on the Wii Shop Channel as a WiiWare title, meaning unless you happen to have a Wii that already has it downloaded before the Wii Shop Channel's closure in 2019, there is no legal way to play it.

- Excitebike: Bun Bun Mario Battle was released through the Japanese-exclusive Satellaview peripheral, meaning other regions were never able to experience it.
- Excitebots only received a retail release in North America. It was made available in Japan as a Club Nintendo reward, but never released in Europe and Oceania.
