Trivia / Escalation Is the Name of the Game

• Omake: Has several.
  • Most prolific are the what could be omakes, which show what could happen when Fuosu goes to other universes. Currently, they cover Worm, Fate/Zero, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, and Rogue One.
• Schedule Slip: The story experienced a fair amount of this during the Mass Effect arc, due to the various authors' schedules making it hard for all of them to coordinate on the story. Fusou ended up moving on to the XCOM: Enemy Unknown arc because of this, though she's still working on the Mass Effect are when she has time.
• Series Hiatus: Will be under one until Fusou has a chance to play War of the Chosen.
  • Extended indefinitely so that Fusou can focus on her other works.
• What Could Have Been:
  • Originally, Fusou was going to troll Drich for some time, before they teamed up to troll both Tiki Tau and Faith. This was rendered impossible when Faith In Superior Firepower was closed down by the author.
  • Originally, the XCOM: Enemy Unknown arc would've been rather slow as Fusou gradually worked her way into battling the aliens. It was later revised to be much faster paced, due to Fusou get a change in paradigms from Drich. To accomdate this, the aliens have already been taking over countries by the time that the story takes place, while in the original, XCOM had only just been established when Fusou arrived.
• Word of God: On the Sufficient Velocity forum, Battleship Fusou has needed to step in a few times to put down arguments and de-rails.
  • The first time was when she stated that the water she had teleported out into space around chapter 6 was never coming back down to her starting world and that it would never turn up in the story again.
  • The second was after chapter 49 or 50 when she stepped in to say that geography along the coast of Kenya had changed enough that the city of Voi had become a coastal location.
  • The third was when she banned all further political discussions revolving around her actions in Chapter 86 until Chapter 87 was uploaded.
  • A fourth one was placed on both the Sufficient Velocity and Spacebattles forums, informing the readers she would not be posting anymore chapters until she could buy and play War of the Chosen for XCOM 2.
  • The fifth one (once again on Sufficient Velocity) had Battleship Fusou state that, should she arrive in the Star Wars universe when no galactic war is going on, that will change rather quickly, because she considers slavery irredeemably evil and would go on the warpath to end it.
