• Creator's Oddball: Back in the 1990s, SquareSoft/Square Enix was mostly known for making Eastern RPG games like the Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest series. Einhander on the other hand is a Shoot 'Em Up. It should be noted that this isn't Square's first foray into the genre, as King's Knight did that beforehand.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: With the exception of a Japanese-only Playstation Network release, there hasn't been a re-release or remaster since. There are discs found on eBay that go on sale for up to $300.
• Schwarzgeist Debuted in Kingdom Hearts: For PAL players, Kingdom Hearts III was where some people actually heard of this game as it never had a PAL release.
