• Schedule Slip: It was mentioned on the Talkcast Podshow that TFS’s Spring Showcase 2021 was supposed to reveal a new ShortZ episode, but due to Troubled Production, its place was taken by the premiere of HFIL.
• Troubled Production: The above mentioned Schedule Slip can be attributed to computer problems with the lead editor.
• What Could Have Been:
  • KaiserNeko revealed on twitter that Midwife Crisis and Android Date-teen were to be released the other way around instead of what happened. In addition, there would have been a line explaining Ox King's absence of Goten's birth.
  • When it was announced that Dragonball Z Abridged was officially cancelled, Team Four Star planned on adapting the Buu Saga in the style of Dragon ShortZ. However, on February 6, 2020, they decided against the idea, for several reasons. However, they haven't ruled out the possibility of something similar occurring, or Videl appearing later on.
  • Lanipator pitched an episode where the government would order Mr. Satan to continue pretending that Cell was just a fraud using special effects to prevent the public from going into a mass panic from learning that the world really was on the verge of being destroyed.
  • According to the Creator Commentary of DBZA Episode 57, there were plans for a short that would take place on the set of the third movie of the Skygina trilogy, titled "Skygina 3: The Big Ass Mighty Tree." Much like the Abridged Christmas Tree of Might movie, it was going to be Christmas-themed because the director of the movie was Shane Black. Kaiser notes there was preliminary animation done, but wasn't completed due to the idea not translating well to the style of Dragon ShortZ, calling it an idea that was "way better on page than on screen."
