• Channel Hop: The 1973-74 anime, originally broadcast on Fuji TV, was rerun during the 1980s on TV Tokyo.
• Cross-Dressing Voices: Masako Nozawa provided the voice of the original Enma-kun in 1973.
• No Export for You: The 1973-74 anime was never dubbed in English or any non-English European language such as Italian. It is very odd that while Go Nagai is popular in European and Latin American countries (Jeeg in Italy, Grendizer in France, Groizer X in Brazil), this 1973-74 incarnation by Toei was not dubbed. The only country outside of Japan that had ever broadcast the 1973-74 anime is Hong Kong (which was dubbed in Cantonese).
