Go To

  • Acting for Two:
    • Kari Wahlgren voices Dorothy and Queen Ozma.
    • JP Karliak voices Tin Man and the Nome King.
    • Jess Harnell voices The Cowardly Lion, one of Wilhelmina's monkeys, and the mayor.
    • Bill Fagerbakke voices the Scarecrow and the Munchkin Land mayor.
    • Jessica DiCicco voices Wilhelmina and the Patchwork Girl.
    • Grey DeLisle Griffin voices both Glinda the Good and her twin sister Melinda the Mean.
  • Actor-Shared Background: We have Dorothy, a Kansas girl, being voiced by Kari Wahlgren, who was born in Kansas.
  • All-Star Cast: We have Kari Wahlgren as Dorothy and Ozma, Bill Fagerbakke as the Scarecrow, JP Karliak as the Scarecrow, Jessica DiCicco as Willomena, Jess Harnell as The Cowardly Lion, he and Steve Blum as her flying monkeys, and Laraine Newman as the Wicked Witch. What could be better than that?
  • Billing Displacement: The end credits list everyone in alphabetical order, meaning that Kari Wahlgren gets billed last since her last name starts with W.
  • Dawson Casting: Dorothy and Willomena are shown to be kids/preteens, yet are voiced by adult actors.
  • Dueling Shows: This show is competing with another Wizard Of Oz show, Lost in Oz. While both are kids shows, the latter is darker and edgier while this one is lighter and softer.
  • Playing Against Type: Bill Fagerbakke is known for playing lovable goofballs who aren't too bright, like Patrick Star. Here, he plays the Scarecrow, who's still nice, but is significantly more intelligent than his usual characters.
  • Production Posse: Shea Fontana serves as the show's story editor, and brought over many people who worked with her on Doc McStuffins, including voice actors Kari Wahlgren, Steve Blum, Jess Harnell, Grey DeLisle Griffin, and Laraine Lewman, alongside writers Noelle Wright, Catherine Luewen, and Ed Valentine.
  • Role Reprise: Even though this show is set in its own continuity, the Wicked Witch is once again voiced by Laraine Newman, reprising the role from the two Tom and Jerry crossover movies with The Wizard of Oz.
  • Same Content, Different Rating: The show has enough of a lighthearted vibe to be given the equivalent of TV-Y in other countries (the preschool show rating), yet in the US, it's rated TV-Y7 despite not having material skewing more to this rating.
  • Screwed by the Network: This series, Wacky Races (2017), and Yabba Dabba Dinosaurs were abruptly cancelled in 2018 for unknown reasons.
