• Completely Different Title:
  • Renamed to Call My Agent! in the Anglophone world. The French title, which translates to "ten percent," refers to the cut of the actor's salary traditionally given to the agent.
  • Julien Doré's musical is titled L'Océan Jouit, which literally means "the ocean comes" or "the ocean climaxes." In the subtitles, this is translated to The Orgasm of the Ocean.
• The Danza: Averted. There is an actress named "Camille" in the main cast, but she plays Andréa.
• Foreign Remake: The highly adaptable premise of the series means that it's gotten remakes in several countries, including the English-language Ten Percent, set in a London-based agency. Most of these have failed to match the critical and commercial success of the original, though, with Ten Percent being cancelled after a single season.
• Irony as She Is Cast: Played with humorously in a storyline in which Monica Bellucci (often considered to be one of the most beautiful women in the world) struggles to find a romantic partner.
• Popularity Power: Out-of-universe example. The series' increasing recognition meant that over time, it was able to attract bigger and bigger celebrities to play themselves. One can compare the early episodes, which largely center around actors who would only really be well-known to French people and francophiles (Guy Marchand, Line Renaud, François Berléand) with the later ones, which feature internationally famous stars like Isabelle Adjani, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jean Reno and Sigourney Weaver.
