  • Acting for Two:
    • In the English dub, Beatrix and the younger Laito are both played by Luci Christian.
    • In the Latin American Spanish dub:
      • Kanato and the younger Ayato are voiced by Karla Vega.
      • Beatrix, as well as the younger Laito and Reiji, are all voiced by Rosalinda Marquez.
  • Adaptation First: Only the TV anime has been released outside of Asia, and technically it is an adaptation of an adaptation since the audio dramas came first.
  • Career Resurrection:
  • Cash-Cow Franchise: The whole franchise is this for Rejet, as it is heavily Merchandise-Driven and the series is pretty much seen as Rejet's mascots alongside the Pythagoras Productions charcters.
  • Cross-Dressing Voices: In the Latin American Spanish dub, Karla Vega provides the voice of the male Kanato Sakamaki.
  • Darkhorse Casting: In the Latin American Spanish dub, and with the sole exceptions of Ricardo Bautista (Ayato), Karla Vega (Kanato and younger Ayato) and Hugo Nuñez (Laito), everyone else in the dub was voiced by more or less relative newcomers at the time.
  • Directed by Cast Member: The Latin American Spanish dub was directed by Karla Vega, who voiced Kanato Sakamaki and the younger Ayato Sakamaki.
  • Fan Translation: A fan-made English patch for Diabolik Lovers Limited V Edition for the Playstation Vita can be found here [1]. There are also fan English-translation guides for ~Haunted Dark Bridal~, ~MORE, BLOOD~, VANDEAD CARNIVAL,DARK FATE, LUNATIC PARADISE, and LOST EDEN, as well as the drama CDs and other side material, here [2] and here [3].
  • No Dub for You: Diabolik Lovers has two different licensors for the first and second seasons in Latin America. The first was licensed by Sato Company, who provided Latin Spanish and Portuguese dubs for release on Netflix. Later, the second season was released in the region through the Hidive streaming by Sentai Filmworks, but only subtitled for both languages including the English dub available. It hasn't so much difference as both seasons were added before via Crunchyroll in the region.
  • No Export for You: For several reasons, the visual novels will probably never be officially released in English.
  • Pre-Order Bonus: Many, many pre-order bonus drama CDs - the VNs got different bonus dramas per major retailer, resulting in 3-5 per title. Sometimes the drama CDs themselves had pre-order bonus drama CDs. They tend to be comedic in content, with very silly premises.
