• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Older, pre-1.10 versions of the game are no longer officially available from Yosshin's webpages.
• No Port For You: The version 1.10 release was released for the Sharp X68000 Z microconsole as well as an .xdf file (Sharp X68000 floppy disk image), but has yet to be released as a native Windows binary unlike past releases. This version can be played on Windows via an X68k emulator, but you might need to put in a little extra work to get the setup correct and run the game at the correct speed.

  • ZeroRanger's Stage 3 boss is the Stage 0 boss of this game, a massive twin-nosed fighter with two shoulder weapon batteries, itself a huge version of this game's player ship. It is known as "Big Zan", referring to this game's practice of referring to lives as zanki. The theme of Big Zan, "Impossible Orange", is a Musical Pastiche of "Impossible One" from this game.
  • In Graze Counter, this game's powerup triangle system is used, and much like in this game, keeping your ship in the center of the triangle will cause the triangle to spin for a few seconds before giving you all three powerups.
