• Creator Backlash: Once denounced his Latino heritage, became a WASP and changed his name to Kerwin White. This storyline was quietly disposed of once his uncle Eddie passed away and he was the only one left to carry on the Guerrero family name.
• Wag the Director: Averted in Lucha Underground. Chavo is one of the producers, but he recognises that his best role is being an unlikable loser who is just there to get his ass kicked, so he only appears when he wants someone else to look great.
