Trivia With Their Own Pages

  • Acting for Two: Considering the main cast plays multiple side roles along with their own, this comes up quite a few times. Most notable examples include:
    • Megan Hilty as Wammawink and Killer Whaletaur.
    • Kimiko Glenn as Horse and Leaftaur Baby.
  • Creator's Favorite: Megan Nicole Dong has referred to Wammawink as her favorite character in interviews, with Stabby as a close second. Ironically, Wammawink is The Scrappy to the in-universe birdtaur fanbase.
  • Creator's Favorite Episode: Megan Nicole Dong's favorite episode changes, but she singles out "Johnny Teatime's Be Best Competition: A Quest for the Sash" as one of the most fun episodes on which she worked.
  • The Danza: Tony Durpleton is voiced by Tony Hale.
  • Descended Creator: Megan Nicole Dong, who is the show's creator, writer, and director among other roles, plays Glendale in the series. She also voices the Tree Shamans on the cast recording and does a few minor voice roles in the show.
  • Early-Bird Release: The first episode "Hello Rainbow Road" was uploaded to the Netflix Futures YouTube channel four days before the series' official release.
  • Foiler Footage: It's subtle, but the scene from "Johnny Teatime's Be Best Competition: A Quest For The Sash" used in the season 1 trailer (specifically when Horse starts her performance) has Wammawink in place of Splendib watching it unfold.
  • In Memoriam: "My Tummy, Your Hurts" is dedicated to Maryam Chin Graul.
  • Multiple Languages, Same Voice Actor: Johanna and Klara Söderberg voice the Tree Shamans in both the English and Swedish dubs.
  • Playing Against Type:
  • Queer Character, Queer Actor: Zulius is gay just like his voice actor, Parvesh Cheena.
  • Those Two Actors:
  • What Could Have Been:
    • The series was meant to be a single season with 20 episodes total, but was instead cut into two seasons with the first having 10 and the second having 8, with the last three episodes being merged into one seventy-minute finale special.
    • Originally, when Gebbrey was inside of Glendale's portal tummy in Season 2, there was a scene where he came across her parents while they were watching TV/living within the portal tummy. It ended up being cut out of the final product.
    • On his way to becoming the Nowhere King, the Elk would have been shown becoming the leader of a large cult comprised of humans, animals, and other creatures, all of whom he would have used in creating the first minotaurs.
